This view facing approximately north shows site on the 3rd May 2009 after initial levelling work. Unfortunately the close proximity of 'Mother Wales' under this slate waste base has precluded the addition of a pit within the budget. The large building on the right is the existing carriage works with the covered carriage siding of 13 road on the left. - Andrew Nelms

Completed concrete base, 8-Nov-2009. Unfortunately a puddle has formed in the middle of the base but not bad for a mainly amateur effort! It isn't likely to fill up with water once a roof is on it in any case. - Andrew Nelms
