New cast Iron Gland Ring to replace the broken one. These seal at the back of the Turbine to stop low pressure steam leaking out from the Turbine Housing. A bit of work is still needed with a needle file to open the slot up to allow the ring to compress to its fitted diameter.
New Bearing Pin with its polished end face. This will be where the Graphite Pad will rest with the pin rotating at approximately 3500 RPM. The pin is now boxed up for Julie's attention for hardening.

Cab steps complete and painted. The tatty and bent Chinese originals have scrubbed up well! It would probably been easier to have started from scratch and made new ones, but these will retain a bit of the loco's character.
